Digipak layouts
A digipak is typically made up of a 5.59 in × 4.92 in × 0.20 clear plastic case with a front cover, a back cover, and a spine which are printed on paper and slotted inside the case.
In hard plastic cases, there is also a space for the CD which is held in place by plastic "teeth". However, some digipaks are instead made up of card which folds out, and the CD(s) are slotted into sleeves as pictured on the right. The most common format is the plastic case pictured below.

There are also some more interesting designs like the Gorillaz album shown below which has 4 fold out panels with one of the 4 band members on each, and the CD is placed in the middle.
I have decided to use the typical hard plastic case with 2 panels as my digipak layout because nearly all the example digipaks which I analysed used this format.
